Oscar de la Renta is the king of high-fashion glamour and I love working on his shows. The look this season was rich and textured, with a retro-touch that was very early 60’s inspired. 

All the models wore head bands made of thick ribbon that was fastened at the nape, with a diamonte brooch attached at the front. A back brushed ‘faux’ bob completed the retro feel, but was left slightly disheveled for a modern twist.

To get the look:

Blow dry the hair with a large round brush using KM Anti-Gravity for volume and texture. Once dry, back brush the hair through, add the hairband, then smooth over the top layers to form the bob shape. Tuck the ends under at the nape and fasten with pins or needle and thread. Pull the sides forward around the face and secure with a pin, then loosen some soft strands for a modern finish and secure with Session Spray.
